It was a bright sunny day down at the fortress and some may say it was summer but it wasn't t-shirt time! Still a wee bit chilly for that!!
Things didn't start off well for the boys in green with Alan Panther getting stripped but not being able to run as his tights, I mean hamstring stopped him from playing so frustratingly watched from the side line as Fraser Newbery took the 10 shirt!

Forrester started of strong but it was the team in red that got the first try of the game and converted to make it 7-0 to Linlithgow!!
Forrester then upped the ante on several occasions but never quite had that finishing touch!
Pressure mounted and Linlithgow gave away a penalty but Fraser Newbery could not convert!!

Forrester were a much powerful side as in a few of the scrums the Linlithgow scrum crumbled under the pressure of the greenies drive!!
One scrum looked as if Forrester were pushing against little boys and the ref gave a penalty for that!!

The half time chat was positive and it showed when it came to the second half! Carl Trahms South African power and tekkers had the Linlithgow defence in a state, with a cheeky we offload off to Dele Hunt who then powered home from the 22 to score underneath the post which made it nice and easy for Noobs to convert!!

4 minutes later Forrester showed there class and skill once again with a quick taken penalty from Fraser Newbury to Paddy Bree who chucked a miss pass to let Carl Trahms fly over the try line and unfortunately this time Noobs missed!!

Then out of the blue Linlithgow came back with a couple of tries without reply!! Some lack luster tackling and there little winger with retro gloves on crossing over gave then a comfortable 35-12 lead!

With 10 minutes to go Forrester put the pressure on again with our flying full back Neil Robertson finding soap on the wing and going under the post to score the try and also convert it!!

Things got a little bit heated towards the end of the game when there number 5 blatantly stamped on Euan Wardrop aka Haggis and a massive brawl erupted, Paddy Bree had a hold of the number 5 and the colours of his face turned! I generally thought that he was gonna get his tatties!! Although it should of been a red he was only sin binned!!
Last minute of the game seen another try for Forrester, Paddy Bree breaking from the back of the scrum to power over and score but the ref said no so Garry Smith said yes to picking the ball up and powering over from a staggering 1 yard out!! Fraser Newbury missed again!!
