14 try delight for the green machine!

Paddy Bree7 Nov 2014 - 09:08

Thanks to Gary Joss for the report!

On a sunny but chilly Saturday down at the Fortress, Forrester ran 14 tries past a Earlston team that only came up with 16 Lads!
Forrester got off to a great start as once again not for the first time this season the forwards were in complete domination and bullying their way towards the try line giving coach Paddy Bree an easy walk over try, within the first 5 minutes!!!
It wasn’t the case of when the next try was coming but how many could Forrester put past this team as throughout the whole game they were dominant!!
There seemed to be a little competition happening between Paddy Bree and Ryan Inglis to see who could get there hat-rick first and after that how many each of them could score. One of the finest moments of the game has to when Paddy Bree broke from a turnover scrum, picked there 9 up like a little rag doll took him at least 5 yards before offloading out the back door to Ryan Inglis for yet another Forrester try, some could ask why he didn’t score himself and we would reply because he is a team player!
Vice Captain Craig Morrison was clearly not happy with Ryan Inglis getting in on the action with 4 tries, which was probably the same amount of rucks he hit all game as well, Himbo decided to take it upon himself to run pretty much half the length of the park to get on the score sheet.
It was a great day for the forwards with 5 out 8 of them getting on the score sheet, but do u class Ryan in there as he was out in the backs half time eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh u decide!!!!

As I was standing on the sidelines I thought that Forrester had a knew signing in their team with some of the handling and the passing but it was only SONNY BILL HORSEY showing some delightful skills both handling and passing!!!!! couple of times you could of said it was like watching the Harlem globe trotters of Rugby!!!

There was still alot more to give from the Forrester outfit with Gavin Sisson and his wobbly leg running down the line to cross over for 1 of his 2 tries!! he could of had a hat rick as he intercepted a ball and had nobody in front of him ran for about 2 meters but decide nah SOD THIS and kicked it out of play!!!! Hence The dress for after the game!!
Jordan Kay rounded off the tries by finishing off a lovely move from the backs, had a cracking game and ran close for man of the match!!

Graeme Dudgeon boot saved him from getting the dress having kicked 6 conversions as 3 times he was through for nice easy tries (if he had caught the ball) if he was a jambo he would have caught them but sadly hes a hibby and 3 dropped balls cost Forrester more points!!

So a very successful day down at the Fortress!! Forrester 88 vs. Earlston 0
