With a false start from Inverleith as they try to kick off, the game eventually gets under way. Forrester catch, secure and send the ball down field. Early pressure from the greens creates an easy interception for Jonny ‘Hamstring’ Graham. Hamstring runs in 30 metres for the first score of the game, Fraser ‘Newbs’ Newbury converts.

A few minutes later Hamstring, struggling to recover from his sprint is subbed for Neil ‘Just Neil’ Robertson. Hamstring tightening up after just returning from injury.

5 Minutes pass and Alan ‘Rashy’ Panther runs through a gap in the defence for an unconverted Try.

Rashy enjoyed scoring so much he done it again 3 minutes later with a familiar line of running for Newbs to convert this time.

Some more possession for the Greens as Inverleith enjoyed kicking it back at us every time they got the ball seen some great running from Robbie ‘Rab’ Douglas to beat a few defenders and touch down over the line for the bonus point. Newbs just missing as the ball glides the wrong side of the post.

More great handling and support play from the greenies seen Sean ‘Jaffa (old school)’ Broadfoot touchdown and Newbs convert.

Some rugby was being played now and a few phases had to be made before the Greens had their next score when Stookie offered a cracking running line to touch down over the line. Newbs converts.

The last 10 minutes seen Inverleith keep some more ball instead of kicking it away and played the phases up until half time.

Forrester 38 – 0 Inverleith

The second half starts and Forrester take the foot off the gas for 10 minutes before ‘Just Neil’ gets over the line with his first score of the match. Newbs converts.

Himbo adds himself to the score card 4 minutes later with Newbs converting again.

A scrum 5 Metres out from the Inverleith line and the coaches lighten the pack with two subs, Scott ‘will you just sing a song’ Robertson (no relation to ‘Just Neil’) and Aiden ‘Anti’ Bevridge for Paddy ‘Coach’ Bree and Daniel ‘Spoogy’ Marr. Bad timing.....However even with the lighter pack, the Mighty Greens still win the ball for a lovely set piece move having ‘Just Neil’ touchdown for his second try. Newbs converting.

Again Inverleith had a scrum on their own 5mtre, this time with their put in. Only for the ball to pop out and Jaffa to do some break dancing on the loose ball to worm his way over the line for his second score. Newbs converts.

Young Anti takes a head knock and is swapped for Spoogy.

Newbs follows the play after some great handling by the Greens to get himself over the line and converts his own try.

The last try comes from Rashy to complete his Hat-trick and earn a bottle of port for the lads with Newbs missing the last conversion.
